The McLaren driver led a one-two finish for the team, with Lando Norris coming in second and Lewis Hamilton rounding out the podium in third place.
The race began with a thrilling start as Piastri, Norris, and Max Verstappen went side-by-side into the first turn. Piastri managed to snatch the lead, while Verstappen went wide, allowing Norris to take second place. Piastri quickly built a three-second advantage over his teammate.

Verstappen’s late-race lock-up allowed both Hamilton and Leclerc to pass, with Verstappen finishing fifth.
