
Paris, France – Day 2 of the 2024 Paris Olympics saw Team USA deliver outstanding performances across multiple events, securing medals and advancing in key competitions.
In swimming, Torri Huske and Gretchen Walsh made a splash by taking gold and silver, respectively, in the women’s 100-meter butterfly. Their impressive performances added to the USA’s growing medal tally and set the tone for the day.
The USA men’s basketball team dominated Serbia with a 110-84 victory in their group play opener. Kevin Durant and LeBron James led the charge, scoring 23 and 21 points, respectively. Their sharp shooting and solid defense ensured a strong start to their quest for a fifth consecutive gold medal.
